Toonraider 0
I bought a multi regional dvd player a few years back but because I had an old tv the pictures were shown in black and white. Oh ffs, another hurdle! Ta for telling me that, my TV is quite old!!!! Black and white means it's not NTSC compatible. Model name and number please! Make-Ancient Model- Relic Its a Sanyo, but I'll have to look for model number later
nufc4ever 0
As long as it's not that old it should be fine.
Fop 1
Can't find a code for it online. I had a look this morning and it evaded me too. Might be worth investing in another cheap multi-region DVD player just to be able to play the US ones. They're so cheap these days that it may be the best option. Thanks for looking for me too Cath, you guys are really good!! I looked too and couldnt find owt, I think you're right, I'll get myself a cheap multi region one...I just don't know why series like Malcolm in the middle arent available over here Edit- Result! just found the complete boxed set of Frasier which says plays on ALL regions http://www.dealsworld.net/dvd/item.aspx?it...mp;VCode=google It's always a good idea to buy multi-region even if you won't need it, the whole regional thing is purely to do with price fixing (quite often you can get an entire US series for ~£20-30 and yet to buy the UK version it will be split up in to several box sets and costing £60-80+ in total). Last time I bought a DvD player the big media companies were trying legal moves to ban genuine multi-region players as well as piling pressure on the suppliers themselves. Fortunately up until then consumer interest had been powerful enough to keep the multi-regional player very much alive.
