Car park death fall 'a tragedy'

The death of a 20-year-old man whose body was found outside an Aberdeen multi-storey car park has been described as a "tragedy".

He was discovered on Chapel Street on Saturday evening and taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he was pronounced dead.

He was seen to fall from an upper floor by a member of the public.

Grampian Police, launching an appeal for witnesses, said the death was not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesman said: "It is thought there were two people at the top of the car park at the time of the incident and we are anxious to speak to them as potential witnesses."

He described the man's death as a tragedy and added that the thoughts of the police were with his family.

The man will be named after relatives have been informed and formal identification has taken place.

Happened just around the corner from my flat. :)

All I know is that "A man who died following a fall from an Aberdeen multi-storey car park has been named.

Twenty-year-old student Euan Morrison from the city's Cults area was found in Chapel Street on Saturday night.

Police say their inquiries have been completed and there are no suspicious circumstances."

Who am I? Do we have a mutual friend?

I think we do. Depends if you play football sometimes on a Tuesday and wear a Newcastle top at Goals. :crylaughin:

That's exactly what I do and what I'm planning to do tonight. Sometimes I wear an Elgin shirt, that makes me even easier to spot.

This evening I'm going to be wearing a long sleeved Newcastle home top with the blue Northern Rock logo and an amazing player's name on the back. Will I see you there? Do you actually know someone I play with or have you just spotted my dismal attempts at football from a nearby pitch?

I shall let you know the morrow If I'm correct. :crylaughin:

If you see someone banging them in on a near by pitch it could well be me.

That seems decidedly one sided. What are you going to be wearing? I want to be able to find you, too!

I start at 8.15pm. I'm going to be nervous tonight but because I played rubbish last week I reckon I'll be okay today.

This is like one of those dodgy contact ads you get in the free papers. "You, bandana-wearing cutie on the train at Aberdeen station yesterday morning. Me, long-sleeved Newcastle top and Girls Aloud blaring out of my iPod. Our eyes met - did you get the shivers too? Call me."

Do you have long hair and wear a bandana when you play football?

I did not start till 9:15, I had a quick look but did not see anyone in a toon top bar myself.

Have you been killing people again? Your profile says you're a 22-year-old man and you've admitted to living in Aberdeen - you fit the description perfectly.

Three people are due to appear in court in connection with the death of a young woman whose body was discovered in Aberdeen city centre.

Nineteen-year-old Laura Milne was found in a flat on Union Street. Officers sealed off the area yesterday to carry out a forensic search as they launched a murder inquiry.

A 22-year-old man along with two women aged 18 and 17 are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the death.

That was also just round the corner as well. :yes

I'm getting scared like. ;)

I sure I was on here when the incident took place.

I'm not sure that would stand up in court tbh.

I bet you're part of the masked gang that attacked a bunch of women this week as well, aren't you?
