bawan 0
Newcastle are holding talks with Middlesbrough goalkeeping coach Paul Barron. Barron has been given permission by the Teesside club to meet with The Magpies and is expected to make the move and join Sam Allardyce's coaching staff. Barron has been with Boro since 2001 when Steve McClaren lured him from Aston Villa. Now the former Plymouth, Arsenal, Crystal Palace, West Brom and Queens Park Rangers shot-stopper is leaving. Barron will follow former Middlesbrough men Mark Viduka and Steve Round up the A19 - after they both linked up with Newcastle in the summer. Boro's academy goalkeeping coach, Stephen Pears, is currently standing in for Barron.
