Yep, his first couple of games he looked world class, mainly due to his positioning. Quickly went to shit however. Gene is talking shit about him being a steady, unspectacular stopper, with a large physical presence. At least when it fell over it might've got in their way. It was a dogshit performance from the entire side, mind, and most of all from the fat, useless wally in the stands. The funny thing is the worst manager we've had in the entire period of Fat Mike's ownership (bar Kinnear) was the one given the most backing. Also his patter stinks generally too, how many times is he going to mention they full kit 50 year old geordies he sees in petrol stations.
