Knackers 0
Newcastle head to Berkshire after successive home wins, but Sam Allardyce's side have not won away since the opening day of the season. Allardyce could stick with the XI who beat Tottenham 3-1 on Monday night, with Charles N'Zogbia having recovered from the illness which forced him off at half-time. Alan Smith is available again after suspension and will be pushing for an immediate return to the team. Joey Barton made his debut for The Magpies as a sub against Spurs, but admits he is prepared to be patient for his first start. Up front, Mark Viduka will not be risked due to a calf complaint, so Michael Owen and Obafemi Martins should continue their partnership. Shola Ameobi was on the bench against Spurs and played 90 minutes for the reserves on Thursday following a groin injury. The defence should be unchanged, with Allardyce still missing the likes of Peter Ramage, Stephen Carr and Celestine Babayaro..................................... Thank fuk for that....it would be a disaster if they ever play again
