Geordie Boyo 24
Fooking class!! Truly awsome! The place was jumping from the 1st song, Superman, to the last, Dakota! They played all my favourite Stereophonic songs Just Looking, Mr Writer, A Thousand Trees, Traffic, Hurry up & Wait. Maybe Tomorrow. Surprised they didn't play Have a nice day, but all the same they mixed it with some classics and some slightly harder stuff which got the crowd buzzing. I'm not normally one for going to concerts week in week out but the girl friend bought the tickets so it was a great experience for me. Did anybody else go last night? http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/0300ent...-name_page.html Edited September 14, 2005 by Geordie Boyo
Ketsbaia 0
One of my mates did, he said it was good. I'm not a Phonics fan so I gave it a miss but I am going to see Franz Ferdinand in November.
Geordie Boyo 24
I never really was a fan either until I listened to a few of their songs, new & old. Was great to hear them play those songs that got me hooked. All thou I don't really like there harder stuff they still got the place rocking and didn't disappoint at all. Kelly Jones has great voice and their music was quality. The one band I want to go and see would definitely be Coldplay, but it was a sell out before I even knew they were playing here...! The Mighty Hog 520
I'd have gone if they promised to only play stuff from the first two albums. They went wank after that. (Apologies for being wankist)
