Tooj 17
Seems to get quite a bit overlooked by today's generation of fans as a player IMO, I know some feel he was overrated but what I've saw of him I thought he was a class act. I also mean this in particular by a lot of Liverpool fans who look upon Dalglish as GOD, rightly so may I add as he was a genius, but you get what I mean? Craig 6702
Keegan was (and still is) considered one of the hardest working footballers of all time in that unlike others in his time, he wasn't as naturally gifted. A true grafter.
Guest alex
More gifted than he was given credit for mind. He made the most of what he had but you don't get to achieve what he did (European footballer of the year twice iirc) on top of winning the European Cup, captaining England etc. just by being a grafter (I know you weren't saying that Craig btw). He scored both the Newcastle goals at my first ever match at SJP.
Craig 6702
True Alex, I agree with that. He was gifted, just not as much as some of his peers who achieved similar acolades.
