smudger 0
Right guys I need some help. My wifes' birthday is at the end of the month and I want to get her a decent laptop as she has recently started a 3 year course and is in dire need of one. I have got about £700 to spend which hopefully should be enough. I really don't know what to look for when buying laptops but Im guessing its the same as when looking for PC's ie RAM, processor that sort of thing?? Any advice or recommendations would be helpful. Cheers

khay 10
You could get her an all right one for about 400/500 if its just for uni stuff.

smudger 0
£700 so your lass can do a bit of word processing? Not quite. Initially it will be used by her for her course to do word processing and other stuff associated with her course but once she has finished that it will no doubt be used by my daughter and other family members so don't want it to be solely for word processing
