So we can be renamed Chelsea Rejects FC, with Portsmouth being the Newcastle Rejects FC, Everton being the Transfer Rejects FC etc...

Your a joke, if you mean Parker and Bridge could even be classed as rejects! Just because people leave Chelsea doesn't mean they are rejects. Parker is amazing, Bridge is world class. Stop thinking we should be competing with them in the transfer market for the likes of Del Horno. Keep the Faith :icon_lol::angry::angry::icon_lol::blush::crylaughin::crylaughin::nufc:

Canny player but no way is Wayne Bridge world class.

He is a very good left back but i could name at least 2 players better than him just in the premiership so he is not world class!

Out of interest, who would you have?

I was trying to think of better left backs in the Permiership and couldn't come up with one. He's a very good defender and good going forward. Might get beaten in one area or the other but all round I can't think of anyone better. I definitely haven;t seen enough of del Horno yet and not quite enough of Heinze yet, though I do rate him.

Cole and Heinze are both better than Bridge from what I've seen.

Wayne is one of the best left backs in the business IMO. Would be a top signing. And he might come with the Parker connection and Babayaro.

'Please come and steal my starting place Wayne.'

Yup, I can see Babayaro begging him to come. :icon_lol:

Why are we thinking of spending more money to correct problem positions that have already been filled by Souness' buys.

Bridge in for Babayaro

Parker in for Faye

I reckon Bridge (if) and Parker are better but are we looking to replace players Souness has bought within a year!!!!!!!!!!

Why buy them then? Why not scout the players out better? Why not make the players we've recently bought better?

Yep and I would trust Jose's judgement on Del Horno also!

Cole's better going forward, Bridge's better defensively for me. I honestly couldn't call it between Heinze and Bridge, very similar players really. Heinze really annoyed me against us this season, thought he was all right last year though.
