He was set to miss games against Fulham and Blackburn after being sent off for Aston Villa at Portsmouth before his £1.5m move to St James' Park. But he can face Blackburn because Villa will have played the two games he had left to serve on the ban and he began the suspension with them. Solano would have missed the game against Fulham with a thigh injury. Villa face West Ham on Monday and then take on Tottenham next Saturday.
