The Fish 10779
heard that Red eye was shit I watched "The Man" today cos my pops didn't fancy watching anything... well anything good it seems. typical, predictable romp. Samuel Jackson played Samuel Jackson playing a cop, Eugene Levy (sp?) played Eugene Levy playing a dentist. It was exactly as you'd expect, no surprises, no laugh out louds, but enjoyable enough that my dad walked out the cinema content with forking out money for it... so I guess that's enough. 2 outta
Guest Sima
The Man nearly sounds as bad as Stealth.
Southern Geordie 1
Just been to the cinema.. Saw "Red Eye". Really weird film that seemed to go on for ages.. Which can't be a good thing. Some bits were cool though. Gah the cinema is so expensive these days.
Southern Geordie 1
I posted after I'd read Matty's post I'd say it was more of a 3/5 film Edited September 10, 2005 by Southern Geordie
Guest Sima
The BFI wonder why cinema attendances are down and DVD sales are up. It costs average of £5.50 to go to the pictures. You can buy the DVD with the Dolby Digital sound for £11 if you shop in the right places. Then you can watch the film as many times as you want. Seems they don't get it though. There did not seem to be much depth to it. and i thought it was over really quickly, which was still to long. looking forward to the new tim burton one Corpse Bride. Surprise, surprise it's got Johnny depp in it.

CaliMag 0
Hey all, Still at work, but I'll be off in three hours (Pacific Time). Then down to meet the missus and 4 year old daughter at the local Harbour where we will go kayaking for an hour or so - after that we are supposed to meet up with my mother-in-law for tea, then probably an early night's rest - busy weekend ahead. This will be the first weekend I will not get to see NUFC's game (all other have been televised over here or I was in Newcastle). I am disappointed, but on the other hand not watching us lose to blackburn will probably extend my life a bit.
