Tom 14021
Utterly ridiculous picking faults with someone for not knowing the name of a player while he was still in a nappy. Believe it or not having an encyclopaedic knowledge of every Newcastle player is not a prerequistit for supporting the lads, although i'm sure if Stevie was incharge there'd be some form of entry exam. A stuck up hypocritical exam he couldn't pass himself... Sure he could man, he even knows about future players such as Leighton Baines He's becoming a parody of himself man All we need is for him to post the picture of the Keys to Skol and Stevies idiocy will be through for the day Add to that some stereotypical insult directed at Scousers. Or the FACT that Baines will sign or the FACT that Jol will be sacked this week
maggiespaws 0
Stevie et al - chill out man! Whilst I respect people who have a good knowledge of NUFC it's not a pre-requisite for a supporter. I get the impression you have an issue with the younger supporters of today but don't tar them all with the same brush. Admittedly there are some muppets you wish would crawl back under a rock but they aren't all like that. I'm 30 and I wasn't immediately sure who he was. I have trouble remembering results of matches last season never mind players of 15+ years ago. You don't have to sleep under an NUFC duvet in your NUFC pyjamas, tightly clasping an NUFC almanac to your chest too call yourself a fan. I'd have more respect for you if you kept your posting to nufc matters where you clearly have in-depth knowledge and can form insightful remarks than ripping a hole in a fellow poster and supporter who can't remember a player from 15+ yrs ago. This place is meant to be relaxed and fun. Lets leave it at that and you all agree to agree to disagree eh?

Ketsbaia 0
Stevie goes on about "Newcastle supports in 2007", he obviously hasn't met my brother. He can tell you the result of any match since round about when Robson took over, followed by the scorers, sendings off etc. rounded off with some random inane comment on what was going on in our lives that day. "It was 1-1, Robert scored then got sent off. Grandad was up fixing the bathroom sink that day"
snakehips 0
Heard owt more about this btw Smooth? fwiw, I reckon it's all pish. That's the notion John Anderson knows what NUFC desires are, and the pathetic squabble between Stevie and Tom. btw, John, 'I mean' Anderson is the reason I gave up listening to BBC commentary. He starts virtually every fuckin's sentence with 'I mean..' Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggg, it does me napper in. ithangu

All day on here? I've made about 7 or 8 posts today all less than one paragraph long, hardly your levels now is it chumpy? The irony of it is, you're a net geek of the highest order, you couldn't even abuse the likes of Skol with any conviction. Just dull. peasepud 59
And he used to have a kick aboot with us in the car park next to his house. Those were the days when footballers lived on places like Lemington Rise and were happy to join in with the kids rather than worrying about insurance or being too busy shagging supermodels. John Anderson STILL lives there, and Neil McDonald used to. No one can say you're as daft as ye look yee like. Does Anderson live in the same house he did back then? the one that backs onto the little carpark next to the Tanning shop?

My mate (I say mate we've not spoken for two years) lives next door to him. I was shagging a lass who lived in a doon stairs flat backing on to that car park. Years ago he lived further in to Lem Rise, Patuna Close or something but he divorced his wife, fuck knows what happened, but he shifted.

I reckon the bloke must love that place because he definitely lived there back in the early days of his time at the toon. Jumping back to topic, what always gets me about these threads is the logic of it, firstly, the fact that John Anderson is held in such esteem at the club that hes told the likes of this. Secondly, and more importantly that Johnny boy thought to himself "how do I tell this to the world? should I go to my place of work, nah thats just a local radio station specialising in NUFC news. I know I'll tell SMOs fatha while were having a round of golf".

bassplayerjj 0
yes, back to the topic, apparently the smoggies may put a bid in, I just hope that we are one of the English clubs talks to Villareal and Riquelme's men and that Ashley should trust Sam and bring in the argie. Only problem is, does the moody magician want to relocate to north-east england? If he likes his football then he would. Btw I bought the cunt for us on FM and that season we finished fourth and won the FA cup. He only managed 25 games because of injury but....18 assists, 12 goals =)
