Ketsbaia 0
I keep getting a message saying that C:/$MFT file is corrupt and I need to run the Check Disk utility. I've ran it several times but it fixes nothing. I've also ran virus checkers, Spybot and Adaware but they're not changing anything either. Recently, i've started to get messages saying that i'm running low on virtual memory. I fiddled with the amount of VM in the Control Panel and now the messages are occuring less often but still too much for my liking. It's not allowing me play FM and every know and again gets very arsey and closes programs for no reason whatsoever. I basically want to know if anyone has had this trouble before and if there's a way I can fix all this without having to format the fucker. Ketsbaia 0
Just tried it to do a system restore but it's having none of it. I clicked 'next' to start the restore but I just got the "$MFT file is corrupt" message and it wouldn't let me go any further.

Ketsbaia 0
Looks like formatting is the only way to go. I'll back everything up then have a bash.
