chester mag 0
Went to watch Chester play the webbed feet people from Grimsby and with a around 4000 there was amazed that they call out the crowd of 3,095. They have done this at all home games this season when you can tell for a fact there are a lot more inside than they call out. Is this some sort of fiddle with the tax or police cost that goes on in Div two or any other league outside the prem.
snakehips 0
I used to suspect that the 'official attendance' at SJP in the eighties was a bit under what seemed to be actually in. Suspected it was a financial arrangement
Optimistic Nut 148
I went down to see Nottingham Forest v Newcastle in a friendly a few years back. It looked very close to a sell-out, yet the "official" attendance was just 19,191. (not as if they put a lot of thought into the figure either!)
