richg 0
See we're top already http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_pre...njury_table.php Boro have more problems, virtually all the quality of their defence ripped out, and they ain't got too many strikers either. Especially with Yakubu on his way out as well. I'm glad we are playing them before Huth and Woodgate are fit!!
Barney 0
Hopefully Given, Owen and Luque are only 2 week injuries at most.
Papa Lazaru 0
I hope that say by halfway through the season, when Big Sam's backroom team and new methods have had time to bed in and the players are reaping the benefits, we will see a big reduction in the injuries you can avoid and also we'll see a big difference in the fitess of players over 90 mins. The worry with Given is that he's had a lot of trouble with groin injuries since the serious injury last season and that needs sorting, and Owen has played so little football for a year now that he's at risk of picking up more minor injuries. tinofbeans 91
biggest thing is the training ground for me, it has a harder base than most premiership pitches and thus (imho) would create more wear and tear on players. bet it was one of the first things on sams training dossiers.
