Tooj 17
Great to see the King of Spain himself get a 50 against the aussies, well deserved, and Warne ending with 40 wickets for the series is absolutely amazing. Warne couldn't have done anymore for his team and the way Lee was still giving it everything when the ashes are lost and he's gutted was impressive. We've got them and deservd it, but the aussies have been outstanding in every aspect as well. 31753[/snapback] without a doubt, the thing that's impressed me most about the Aussies apart from the obvious usual World Class performers such as Warne & McGrath, it's the actual attitudes of players', how they've prepared to have some good banter with the crowd and the other players, whereas in the past Steve Waugh looked like he'd be prepared to hit anyone who came anywhere near him

snakehips 0
The last time we will see Warne in a test match in this country. The last time we will see McGrath in a test match in this country. The last time we will hear Benaud commentating on a test match in this country. The last time a test match will be on terrestrial tv in this country for who knows how long (don't like to sound an old fart, but this is quite a sad moment for me after watching tests on tv since the 60's) England win the ashes. All this has combined and I have to admit I have had a tear in my eye as a result. What a day, what a series!
