Christmas Tree 4728
CT's response? Response to what? He hasnt said anything of interest unless Im missing it. He's worried that we havent signed a left back? Do me a favour and join the queue. If he was that worried he should have stayed. Maybe you should point out the great bit he's revealed. I think as I said ages ago, no big surprises have or will come out and it is nothing more than what he says himself...."Sometimes good players leave a club". Sometimes players should have the good grace to be a little more honest. He wanted champions league football and more money. They didnt want him so this is his next best step. A nothing story and he should really now concentrate on his new club.
The Fish 10858
“You want to be as high as you can in the table, but maybe Newcastle don’t think the same. That is why they sell their best players and that is why everyone moves.” How you can read this and not see the inevitable slide into mediocrity is a mystery. He, quite plainly, states we're a selling club.

He, quite plainly, states we're a selling club. My 1st point is we didnt need Enrique to tell us something we already know. We know we have no ambition to challenge for the top. My 2nd point is when he says "everyone moves because we have no ambition", he is the only one who has moved of his own free will. Nolan wanted to stay, Barton wanted to stay and depending which story you believe, Carrol wanted to stay. I have no problem with him wanting to "better" himself, but the rest is either old news or tosh.....IMO

We have no ambition; exhibited in moving on our best players and not signing replacements. He only left because we have no ambition.
Monroe Transfer 0
He only left because we have no ambition. As much as it pains me to say it I'm pretty sure Liverpool would attract most players of his ilk even if we showed moderate ambition. They're a bigger and better club and he's more likely to be watched by the Spanish national setup playing for them (especially if they're checking up on Reina anyway). I imagine his wages have significantly improved too. Edited August 19, 2011 by Tecato

Christmas Tree 4728
The second point is simply this. He says "everyone moves because we have no ambition". To me that reads that he thinks all the players have left because they wanted to and that they did this because we have no ambition. Thats not true. Nolan didnt want to leave. Barton doesnt want to leave etc. So in fact, Enrique is the only one who has left of his own doing. As I said before, he hasnt blown some big new story wide open so would be better just concentrating on his new team imo. Anyway, time for bed. Sleep well all. Not sure about Milner, thought he left because we got such a price for him (at the time). N'Zogbia, Given, yeah. Absolutely. I think Duff wouldn't have minded staying. Bassong and Martins leaving was a byproduct of our relegation.

It's not a new story, but it's a story that shows how toxic Ashley and his cronies are. Jose Enrique states definitively, that this club is showing no ambition and that it's best players will be moved on. Jose would not have left if we showed ambition. I can state that with absolute conviction. I swear to God, None of the players that have left (since our return) wanted to. They've been moved on because Ashley thinks we can survive without them and that's the limit of the man's ambition. A prediction for HF, if any of them perform well, those that we've signed this season will be moved on within 2 seasons.

Phil 6
Jose's a c**t, I lost all respect for the guy. He wanted to leave but didnt have the balls to hand in a transfer request. He's got a cheek saying we havent replaced him. Maybe if he didn't mess us around, we'd be better sorted. He's half the full back baye was, so no big loss imo, massively over rated by most. Aly Cissokho is loads better, not that i think we'd get him. I'll wait to see who comes in by Sept 1st before i make my mind up on it.

Jose did it by playing shit for six months and tweeting. Haven't you got some studying to do? ~correcting spelling, your a typical know it all grad, not long yet.
