Shearergol 0
It was joke btw. I didn't see the wink Here And when's Boa Morte coming? Hmmm oh yeah Although in my defence, Souness did want him, but FS wanted to sign Luque after he was offered to us. Guest alex
Aye, you said at the time. Crazy in retrospect. Talk about not 'backing the manager' if true.
Shearergol 0
Aye, you said at the time. Crazy in retrospect. Talk about not 'backing the manager' if true. I think the fact that Luque was a Spanish international was the big thing to Fred. Didn't really matter if he'd fit in, but it might sell a few shirts and get us in the papers. Besty 4
Fulham complete Bouazza transfer Winger Hameur Bouazza has joined Fulham from Watford for a fee that could rise to £4m. The 22-year-old has agreed a four-year deal and is Cottagers manager Lawrie Sanchez's eighth signing of the summer. Sanchez told his club's website: "He will provide further pace and attacking guile to our frontline." Bouazza said: "I've got a few days training to settle in and hopefully I'll be involved on Sunday against Arsenal. It's going to be a big game." He added: "I'm really pleased to have joined Fulham. It has been a long wait and I'm just happy to be here and I'm looking forward to getting out on the training pitch." Fulham have had a busy summer, having already captured Diomansy Kamara, Aaron Hughes, Steven Davis, Chris Baird, David Healy, Paul Konchesky and Lee Cook. And Sanchez feels satisfied that the club is in a good shape for the new campaign. He said: "We are only a few days away from our first game of the season at the Emirates Stadium and I am confident that we have a group of players that will do well in the Premier League this season. "I am delighted with what the club has achieved in the transfer market this summer." Doubt they'll be in for Le Zog anymore then.
