khay 10
Going to be in the pub watching, so can't help. And I'm not sorry.
jaythesouthernmag 0
You cant buy 1 game. It says on the web site no annual contract & £9.99 per month but if you read the T&C`s it says minimum 12 month contract, Needless to say I gave it a miss. themags 0
they arent doing PPV, you've got to subscribe and it's a 12 year contract
Meenzer 15871
Hm, I wonder if the dodgy Oirish-esque pub down the the road will have it.

themags 0
er, it's only 12 months really if you know any pubs who show the 3pms on dodgy channels, they probably have it as it's on Al Jazeera Sport +1 which is part of the ART Sports package which alot had for last season
The Fish 11080
surely your average pub has Setanta now?
Hank Marvin 0
It isnt a 12 month contract its 2 months minimum plus £10 connection fee.you have to give 1 months notice to cancel.so sign up for 1 month then cancel means min of 2 months, but you still have to pay £10 connection fee which is a rip. themags 0
Setanta and Sky have done a deal so pubs with legit sky should have both

Super7 0
Free on virgin if you've got the 'very immense penis' package, which I have I'm going to the match so I'm not too bothered but have you checked that the channels are actually working as last time I tried to get one of the UEFA matches on Setanta there was a problem? I also have the Virgin XL!
AgentFox 0
I have just signed up it is £10 a month and you do need to cancel with in 30 days so it is 2 months connection but the lady I spoke to wavered the connection fee she also said that you can do it online as well and there will be no connection fee. So giving the amount of Newcastle games to be shown in the next two months £20 is not bad

Super7 0
Well Virgin lived up to their promise and Setanta 1&2 along with Rangers and Celtic TV have appeared. I think they are showing repeats of the match tonight.
Gemmill 47213
Is Setanta free to all Virgin customers now or something? I'm housesitting at my mother's for the next fortnight and they've got Virgin, so will I be able to watch the Sampdoria match?
Super7 0
It is free so long as you have their XL TV package (which they gave us with the price reduction when we lost Sky One and SSN).
Gemmill 47213
Yeah I'm pretty sure they do have that. I made my mam ring up and they got V+ and the sports and all sorts added and the cost of their package actually went down.
Renton 22493
Why do you need to 'house sit'? Do they live in Benwell or something - not that you'd be much use.
zico martin 95
I watched the match last night on setanta and was well impressed with the picture quality, and the fact it's free for us VM customers now! Chuffed, even better if and when setanta launch their sports news channel, then I wont miss sky sports at all!
Gemmill 47213
They have two cats and a dog, so I'm animal-sitting really. And no, they live in Gateshead. My place in North Shields will be more at risk through my absence than theirs would be!
