Geordie Boyo 24
On N-O they are saying he's unhappy & wants to leave. We've got Duff & Barton out injured for a while which leaves us with Zoggy, Nobby, Geremi, Milner & Butt with Emre back at the end of the month. I think we need to bring in more quality before getting rid of our better players. But if it is true he wants to leave then he will.
themags 0
West Ham are interested great, they'll probably offer us 10million or something since they like paying stupid money for players at the minute
Gemmill 47227
It's good that there's more than one club involved. It's especially good that one of them is West Ham. That Magnusson has a touch of the Dr. Evils about him: "Why offer 6 million................when I can get him for TWELVE MILLION!!!!"

The Fish 11080
My cousin was on the 'plane sat next to Sven once. It was while he was England manager and they got talking. He loves Dyer. so many top flight managers seem to. just got me thinking on a tangent, once Mourinho has moved from Chelsea or after he's quit entirely, I'd love to see a book of his pre-match preparation notes on our teams. they would serve as nothing more than a glimpse through his eyes upon teams now disassembled, but I reckon it'd be interesting none-the-less Edited July 23, 2007 by The Fish

jaythesouthernmag 0
It wont bother me if he`s off as long as we get a decent replacement in, He thinks he`s better than he is anyway. Let him join West Ham and sit on their bench
Jimbo 175
I think .com's comments sum it up perfectly for me: Inevitable departure: Kieron conclusion Regardless of the Joey Barton injury blow, the Newcastle United career of Kieron Dyer looks to be drawing to a close, with three clubs now rumoured to be interested in signing him. After some open-ended comments from West Ham boss Alan Curbishley over the weekend, the names of Spurs and Manchester City were added to the mix by Monday's papers. When asked on Saturday if Dyer had played his last game for the club, Allardyce commented: "Kieron Dyer hasn't said anything to me. We've got no bid. If we do get a bid, then it might be his last game for Newcastle but we've got no bid." From our own perspective, we're happy to see him go. Quite simply, eight years of unrealised potential for whatever reason is just enough for us - if someone is prepared to pay his daft wages and give us a fee, then good luck to them. The alternative prospect of two more years as he sees out his contract and becomes eligible for a testimonial is deeply unpalatable. So much of what can be termed "the old guard" at SJP has been swept away by the massive off-field changes in recent months - for us, the departure of Dyer is a necessary part of the onfield revolution. Barney 0
Was just about to quote that. I think if that turd were to get a testimonial it'd be a shame.
Sima 0
The irony of us taking the piss out of West Ham by overpaying for players tbh

Let him join West Ham and sit on their bench Been reading a lot of people on here taking the piss about West Ham,but i reckon the players they are signing, and the others they might get, that they will probably do better than us in the league tbh like. They could end up with a squad of what people might think to be misfits, but they could click and i have a feeling they will.
