menace13 0
Getting worried like, new season is only 3 weeks or so away. We still need at least 5 players.
Dr Gloom 22510
aye. after a decent start our transfer window dealings have stalled. i think we need at least three more signings that are better than what we already have. most of our buys so far have been decent additions to the squad but we haven't really added players that are definitely going to take us to the next level. Papa Lazaru 0
Ideally Big Sam will be able to bring in another 4 players, but it may be he manages less than that. If so then we absolutely have to get a LB and next would be another CB, beyond that i'd like another RB and really a covering LB to get rid of Babayaro. Even better if he brought in a bit of a creative flair player as a surprise as well!
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
I don't think its possible for him to turn us round in one transfer window (especially with the ownership upheaval). We're a big club but we're out of shape, putting us right is a full-time job. A couple of years, minimum, realistically.

A couple of years, minimum, realistically. that's been the same line trotted out for years now. we always seem to make excuses before the season even kicks off....transitional year etc. a good manager and a few good additions and we should be challenging at the right half of the table. i just worry when you see so many teams around us spending big and i hope ashley gets his money out before the last week of the window, unlike his predicesor Edited July 21, 2007 by Fancy Dan lecturer
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
To be fair, the squad has been whittled down to the bone over the last few seasons and the take-over was bound to complicate things, so its not like every other year.
