Gemmill 47746
Is he still with the same agent that advised him to reject our contract offer? That's one of the worst examples I've seen of a player being poorly advised by his agent. He could feasibly have stayed here and still be getting a game, but instead he's in the football wilderness. Not only that, but Jimmy Bullard says he fucking stinks!

From getting the shit kicked out of him in the San Siro, to relegated with Southampton, droppped by Rangers and then not able to get his shit together long enough for our reserves. Shame it doesn't happen more widely and more often really.

Scottish Mag 3
From.com From the Toronto FC website: Alex Francis and Olivier Bernard trained with the team on Tuesday. "Alex is a young midfielder who has been released by Newcastle. He's been here for a few days for me to have a look at," said coach John Carver. Bernard, 29, played for five seasons with Newcastle in the Premier League and is training with Toronto to regain fitness after an injury. "He's had an operation on his hip and because we worked with him at Newcastle, we're doing him a favour to get him fit," Carver explained. "He's just here having a bit of a holiday and he's friends with Laurent Robert. He's just here to get himself fit after his surgery."

I saw both Laurent Robert and Olivier Bernard at the waffle machine in the Marriott hotel in Toronto at the start of June. Bernard was limping quite a bit (obviously as a result of his hip op), and Robert was telling me what a bad time he'd had at Portsmouth - hoe badly he'd been treated.
