Jimbo 175
GLENN ROEDER admits he has a burning desire to get straight back into management. Roeder resigned as Newcastle manager at the end of last season after 15 months in charge at St James' Park. Newcastle fans turned on him after a poor run of results but Roeder says he has lost none of his appetite for the game and hopes an opportunity will come his way soon. Roeder said: "My passion is as strong as ever, it's just a question of being patient and waiting to see what turns up. "Now the clubs are starting pre-season training it is sinking in that the game I have been involved in all my life, I'm not going to be part of. "I've always believed that in life you can't fail as long as when you get knocked down to the canvas you come out trading punches again. "I know there's life outside the game but for me, football's everything."

Offshore Toon 0
He should manage a club that is more his level, which is probably in League 1 or 2, maybe even lower.
