The Fish 11114
I need some ideas for a hot, non dusty vacation spot, not over crowded by wanky western tourists, but not isolated from creature comforts either. I needs me a tan, some nightlife and a fortnight (give or take) or genuine relaxation. Toontasticers ASSEMBLE

The Fish 11114
Budget? circa £1k inc spending I can get very cheap flights because my sisters works for an airline, so it's more about the accomodation than anything else.

I'm struggling to think of anywhere that won't be pretty busy at this time of year tbh. I like Greece though, personally.

The Fish 11114
haway hips man, "the bay" is a shit hole, with little or no redeeming features, bar for the fact it's close enough to the sea that you can at least escape it's viral clutches by plunging into the freezing waters and hopin they scoop your cryogenicaly preserved body from the icey depths after a cure has been found. it's fully stocked with charvers and stag/hen nights, what makes it worse, is that it actively attracts them. no, I'll stick with alex's suggestions. Th only problem I have with Greece is I was told that in the later period of summer and early autumn it's quite dusty. This is anecdotal, but I don't watch "Wish you were here" anymore... Well Mr. Fish I were you I'd go and do a little bit of island hopping. You could easily do three or for in a fortnight and you could tick all those boxes at once. Just get a return flight to one and go to two or three others without airports to escape the crowds. Early September will be a lot less crowded than July/August though when the place will be heaving. I think me and wor lass and my sister and her lad are going to do just that next year. I'm actually a bit gutted I won't be going to Hellas this year. Brock Manson 0
A week in Switzerland. My friend lives in the countryside just outside of Geneva, and they have a music festival which is usually quite good. Going again this year, but apart from Muse, the lineup isn't so great this year.
