Happy Face 29
I'm starting work in a couple of weeks and need suitable clothing. I'm hardly some gay knob who reads Hello. Gemmill 47527
I'm gonna need to buy some suits for my new job. Anyone got any recommendations? I'll probably just end up getting them from Next or Slaters or something - I can't get suits from M&S cos the sleeves are too short. Used to have the same problem with Next, but they've recently woken up to the fact that not all men are midgets and released a non-thalidomide range which seem to fit alright. Marksies want to get their act together on that front too.

Gemmill 47527
Never really shopped in there. Will a suit from there last 5 minutes or not? Like those £30 suits they were doing in Asda a while back, they must just about get you through a job interview or a wedding and then disintegrate for that sort of price? Or a meringue? Don't know, I'm far too snobby I reckon you get what you pay for though. I tend to buy Italian suits from Moss Bros. It's canny friendly in there and you can get a nice suit for £200-300. geordieshandy 0
Just got a canny one from Greenwoods on Saturday, paid £99, plain black, two button job. But it actually feels nice to wear, compared to some you can get which are hellish. Plenty of places have got sales on at the moment as well. Aye I think my last two were from slaters and were about £200 each. I went through a phase where I thought I was loaded or something and bought three Hugo Boss suits from CF for work , but they didn't really last that well. What a fucking moneywasting tit I am. Just need some new ones at the mo cos the ones I've got are looking a bit shabby.

America is the best place for them cos it's $ for £. $400 for a Boss suit instead of £400 here. We don't half get our pants pulled down in this country. The one at the bottom end of Northumberland Street next to where you would go up to CF though. Boss suits are nice mind. £300 is my limit though. To look at Alex on a match day you'd think the only suit he owns was for his (regular) trips to the magistrates.

The thing with Moss Bros is, at least you know if there's going to be alterations that they won't fuck them up. With CF, they had to do some fannying on with one of my suit jackets taking in some material at the back or something (this was in the days when I was slim ) and the people they used to do it absolutely butchered it. I was only 21 or something at the time so didn't really know what the craic was, but my mam pointed out what a fuck up they'd made when I got it home, but I was too soft to take it back. Once in Marksies getting his lunch and once outside of work in Gateshead (at the time I thought he was stood waiting for a lift so drove straight past, turns out he was at the bus stop and I could have gave him a lift! ).
