Craig 6703 Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 Due to the problems encountered earlier today, we're planning to perform an upgrade this evening which we hope will result in things running a lot more smooth and hopefully ensure that we don't experience it in the future. Until the upgrade is applied we've taken the decision to temporarily close unecessary forums and for the time being only the Newcastle Forum, General Chat, Help & Football Games forums are open. Help forum should still be there For the record, the upgrade will be occurring this evening and will result in some downtime of the site. When this happens, there'll be a placeholder in place to on the front page which will direct you to the temporary forum (the old toonchat to those of you who remember it). There is a lot of work still needing to be done, rest assured the team here will be on it ASAP. We decided to get the site back online (despite not looking beautiful just yet!). Please bear with us! Some of the skin is missing, plus some smilies and buttons are coming out as red crosses and are non functional? Probably just my computer like, mind I'm sure it was working fine before.
