I'm really glad to see who Sam has been trying to sign but we are going to lose a few players during the African Cup of nations. Possibly, depending on who comes or goes but possibly Obi, Baba, Geremi, Beye.

Yay, we'll lose Babayaro! ;)

It is quite interesting that we're constantly being linked with the same people, so there is probably some truth in the rumours. I would have expected the papers to have moved on to us making audacious bids for Ronaldhino and Alessandro Nesta.

I never even noticed that before. Thank god it's not Monday again.... ;)

Beye had Shearer in his back pocket when we played Marseille in the Uefa Cup two or three years ago. I think with Rozehnal here from PSG after having a good season with them Beye could jump at the chance to join us.

Haven't seen much speculation around Wayne Bridge coming here, but one transfer at a time, eh.

I'm really hoping we lose him before then, tbh.

I'm pretty sure there was a rumour that Bridge wouldn't leave because he believes he'll be the first team left-back next year.

Deluded or what?

Ahead of Ashley Cole? If that's what he said then it's obvious he's happy collecting his wage packet and medals he hasn't earned rather than playing regular 1st team football.

Sadly, that can be said about a lot of Chelsea players.

I'm looking at Sidwell and Ben-Haim.
