smoggeordie 0
Matty Pattison has handed in a written transfer request at Newcastle United, skysports.com understands. The South African-born midfielder has made ten first-team appearances for The Magpies and is rated very highly at St James' Park. However, the 20-year-old feels he needs to move away from Tyneside to look for first-team football. Pattison has 12-months left on his current deal, but new manager Sam Allardyce will now have to assess whether to keep the youngster or let him leave. A number of Championship clubs are thought to be keeping close tabs on the situation, should Pattison be allowed to leave.

Baggio 0
he's rated very highly? Apparently he was really good when he was younger, perhaps those 2 serious injuries really took it out of him.

Geordie Boyo 24
Looked like a great prospect two or three years ago and it's a big shame he never stepped up his game. His loss! Just hope the likes of Carroll, Huntington & Edgar rise to the challenge in a season or two to have some more local lads come through the ranks

Guest alex
In fairness he looked totally out of his depth wide-left. Even games like Spurs away when he played there and the team did ok he still looked fucking awful. It was like playing with ten men with him there. He looked more comfortable in the middle. Probably not good enough but he looked like that was his position.
