Get checked out, you can have Arrhythmia without realising it.

rrhythmias are disorders of the regular rhythmic beating of the heart. They're common — as many as 2.2 million Americans are living with atrial fibrillation (one type of rhythm problem). Arrhythmias can occur in a healthy heart and be of minimal consequence. They also may indicate a serious problem and lead to heart disease, stroke or sudden cardiac death. The goal of this site is to help the public and healthcare professionals learn more about arrhythmias, and ultimately reduce disability and death from heart disease and stroke. Do your part by learning the facts and taking the steps needed to understand and control arrhythmias.

My thoughts entirely!

Seriously, I'm relatively medically qualified, but I have to say it is impossible to diagnose on a message board. You're going to have to pluck up the courage and see a doctor - probably your GP. To put your own mind at ease, you need an examination including an ECG. But chances are you are absolutely fine with nothing to worry about - especially if you're young.

And in the remote chance you're not, and I stress remote, their will be plenty of things the medical staff can do for you. Either way your on a winner. Book the appointment on Monday.

I'm reticent to say anything, as I don't really know anything about this stuff, but the sleepiness thing makes me think of an interupted flow of blood (and with it, oxygen) to the brain. Don't worry yourself about it, but I think a trip to the Doctor's is in order.

Absolutely. No matter how 'qualified' anyone is on here, there's no way anyone here can know what's causing it. It is, however, something that definitely needs investigating. Don't put it off either.

yesterday when I first read this, I wondered if you were just having a joke ie the reply made by doc ken .. now I know you are serious. How old are you ? Not that it matters, but whatever you are you should get along to the hospital / doctors asap.

I just counted how quick my heart beats and I had 60 beats in 40 seconds.

I gotta go first thing in the morning with my brother tomorrow.

Might be either because,I swallow alot of chewing gum/have lot of sugar or something similar.
