menace13 0
I keep feeling my heart stop beating somehow? It only happens for a second or so...Fucking weird. It feels like I'm bout to go sleep then it beats again and I wake up. It's happened around 2-3 times now I think.

Gemmill 46091
Is Dr. Noisewater an MD then? Looks to me like he's spotted the cause and is ready to make a diagnosis here.
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
My diagnosis is love sickness. (lusticus enfatuaticus) I advise you to ask pharmicist Jimbo to send you some special medication. Treat the eyes twice daily until you start to feel better. The Mighty Hog 526
If it worries you go to the quacks. I mentioned something similar the last time I was there and he gave me a quick check and it turns out it was just palpitations. Harmless enough, but it puts your mind a rest. Pilchard Chops 0
Get checked out, you can have Arrhythmia without realising it. rrhythmias are disorders of the regular rhythmic beating of the heart. They're common — as many as 2.2 million Americans are living with atrial fibrillation (one type of rhythm problem). Arrhythmias can occur in a healthy heart and be of minimal consequence. They also may indicate a serious problem and lead to heart disease, stroke or sudden cardiac death. The goal of this site is to help the public and healthcare professionals learn more about arrhythmias, and ultimately reduce disability and death from heart disease and stroke. Do your part by learning the facts and taking the steps needed to understand and control arrhythmias.

Seriously, I'm relatively medically qualified, but I have to say it is impossible to diagnose on a message board. You're going to have to pluck up the courage and see a doctor - probably your GP. To put your own mind at ease, you need an examination including an ECG. But chances are you are absolutely fine with nothing to worry about - especially if you're young. And in the remote chance you're not, and I stress remote, their will be plenty of things the medical staff can do for you. Either way your on a winner. Book the appointment on Monday. 80-2 0
I'm reticent to say anything, as I don't really know anything about this stuff, but the sleepiness thing makes me think of an interupted flow of blood (and with it, oxygen) to the brain. Don't worry yourself about it, but I think a trip to the Doctor's is in order.

No matter how 'qualified' anyone is on here, there's no way anyone here can know what's causing it. It is, however, something that definitely needs investigating. Don't put it off either.
