"This is music for the ugly ducklings of the world, Music for swans. If you are you’re a member of the rat race, climbing around a dumpster with the other rats vying for power, you may of course listen, but know – this is not music for you. This is action against you"

Not for me then. Shame as its a nice album.

Listened to that Guy Called Gerald track the other day for the first time in ages. On a compilation which also has Never Get off the Boat by the Aloof. That Gas album which I mentioned on here before is pure unadulterated class. Matt Jarvis has done some other very good stuff (as High Skies). Think this baby is the best tune on that album like:

They don't make them like that any more.

Nice little track that. In a wierd way I didn't really get into Gas till quite recently.

The em:t label was pretty obscure. Especially first time round. Got a fair few of those original releases on CD. Some of them change hands for silly money (for CDs at any rate).

Also excellent is:

On a similar tip, I would recommend It's Tomorrow Already by The Irresistable Force. Probably the best thing Mixmaster Morris has done (which is saying something):

Beautiful.

Should have produced a Jacko album. Didn't turn up.

You caught any of the Nile Rogers / Disco stuff that's been on BBC 4 late / in the middle of the night recently? Quality, man.
