.....got home and when I was checking it out further it appers the bastards have taken to retracable parcel shelf out! It was there the first time I saw it then again when I test drove it but not now.

Could be an innocent mistake and it was removed when they valeted it but I don't trust anyone in the motor trade so can't help being cynical.

They cost about £55 on ebay too so I'll be fucked if I'm paying that for one.

I thought you were going to tell us that there were two fit blondes tied up in the back and as you rescued them they offered you a threesome as a thankyou.

frankly I'm disappointed.

voted worst car ever, you poor sod

my uncle had one, always in the garage

Oh dear, if only you'd been around a couple of weeks ago when SMO asked if they were any good, it wouldnt really have made any difference, his lass still would have made him buy it but at least he would have known it was a dog beforehand.

Zafira's are fucking horrid! I know someone who was given one as a courtesy car when someone ran into the back of theirs and they took it back 2 hours later and demanded something else.

One of the blokes at work (who has 4 kids and had to go for something like this) has the SRi version and test drove them all. Reckons that if you have the SRi or VXR versions, you're OK and the 'Design' is drivable. The Expression, Life or Club though he reckons are absolute dog-shit!

Gotta chose my new company car soon, thinking of going for a Golf GT Sport TDi - anyone got any horror stories with them?

I think I'll give it a test drive!

Just want something that's big enough to carry the kids from time to time and all their clobber but still be fun to drive.

I was in that Stratsones on Felling Bypass yesterday, salesman couldnt have been more helpful, talking about what they had, were planning on getting in and then, when I was talking about wanting summit with a bit poke said he'd let me take the Limited Edition Corvette (550 BHP!!) they've got sitting and the AM DB7 out for test drives even though I pointed out the fact I was only looking to spend about half what the cheapest of the two were going for!

Looking forward to them like!

I once saw an Espace with a mid-engined racing block fitted

now that was a people carrier

3.5 litre formula one block to be exact. Saw it myself at Silverstone in 1995. Fucking unbelievable to watch, you wouldn't have thought it possible for something that cumbersome to move so fast!

been out in one, they are a good car. the 170bhp version that is.

leaves most cars standing between 50 and 80mph because of the wall of torque!

Pants! On my grade, I can only get the 140bhp version....
