So, these music downloader thingys.

 

Which is the 'cleanest' ie no spyware, trojans, nasties etc?

 

Which do you use for single tracks and which do you prefer for whole albums?

For single tracks, beemp3 is pretty good. No spyware either from what I can gather.

soulseek was amazing a few years ago, I'm sure it's still pretty good

I use Soulseek too, yeah, especially for individual tracks. Often don't have the patience when it comes to whole albums - prefer to torrent them if they're available.

Still just using isohunt. Does the job.

Someone told me that Soulseek is full of shit but I've never had a problem with it at all. Not sure if that's because nearly everything I download is independent stuff.

Sloop's right though, it does have a fantastic library.

downloads.nl seems pretty straightforward for single tracks.
