Isegrim 9803
Zogs crossing was attrocious last year. Barton apparently took a fair few of the set plays for City last year. Free kick delivery and corners. I seem to remember Luque taking a few corners throughout the season and they were very good. Best player ever after Zico Hughes. I know Zoggy's crossing from open play was poor, but I'm curious as to his ability when the ball is dead He scored from a freekick against Fulham but it looked more like he miss hit a cross, unintentional IMO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWybd5Q-Nr4 Fully intentional imho. I don't think it was, he was aiming for the back post for someone to come in with a header but got too much flight on the ball. Hopefully he won't be here next season anyway. Prejudiced imho. With that kind of height and pace he was never aiming for anything else but the goal. Most talented young player I've seen at Newcastle in my life. Isegrim calling people prejudiced in a thread about Emre! Jusus Wept! The lad is average, poor passer of the ball and his crossing is even worse, the only thing he had going for him is pace and his ability to run at defenders yet he was found out when he tried to do it last season, on top of that the lad thinks he's fucking Robinho or someone like that. I can handle big headed players when they have an impact like Bellamy had but N'Zogbia?! No chance.

You can't tell me Duff convinced you he was the man to replace an admittedly huff, yet very poorly treated N'Zogbia?
The Fish 10873
I rate him, but think he could do with playing in a good side with a proper central unit to his right and genuine strikers to aim for instead of fucking Dyer and Sibierski

I don't think either are good enough, I can't see Duff getting back to the level he was at either Blackburn or Chelsea and I don't think N'Zogbia was ever that good in the first place, like Milner he stood out in a poor, unmotivated team. Neither Milner or N'Zogbia are good enough if we want to get back up around 5th.
gram 0
Duff's injuries will dictate whether he gets back to his old form. The odd thing is that he has played very well for the Republic in his time with us. N'Zogbia is untried really. He has some ability, but whether he has the temperament is another matter. He is a kid with a few tricks and decent pace. Hell of a lot to learn though imo. Milner is a decent squad player. No better, no worse. Like Baggio says, we need better if we are going to push for top 5 with any conviction.

We're not the only club with millions to spend now and we probably have a lot more work to do behind the scenes than most.

You've changed since becoming friends with Leazes I haven't mate, if I had I'd say something like "What do you know about NUFC? after all you're one of the double wankers who backed Souness until the end and said anyone is better than Fred I bet you wanted Bellamy out too" etc.
