.......would appreciate the views of some of you's on here.

Would you buy a petrol car with over 100k on the clock?

If so what would you look for inparticular?

Got my eye on a 2.3 Galaxy but the garage claim they are awaiting it's service history.

What's your opinion on gas conversions? Seem to make sense economically but are you losing anything on the drive using gas? I'm also looking at a 2.8 litre Galaxy that's been converted to gas.

Forgot to reply yesterday to your text.

My mate test drove an Old Range Rover with the gas conversion and reckons performance wise there was no difference but you may lose boot space unless they've done one of them spare wheel space conversions.

Good point, with all 7 seats in on normal models there's only room for a pushchair and a few bags so any less boot space would be a downside.

Might as well just get yourself a nice estate car, Volvo T5, fit's a double mattress in the back with the seats down

100K miles seems a lot mind.

It's Y reg with 107k on for £5449.

Mint condition like but seems a bit pricey to me.

Where do they put the spare wheel? In the space where they would otherwise have put the gas converter?

They give you a can of 'get you home tire sealant' instead

Smoothy, something you need to consider, although gas is cheaper it actually takes 50% more gas in volume to get the same performance as petrol. I'm not sure what the law is in the UK but here all gas vehicles have to be dual fuel, you can switch between gas and petrol but people don't realise that because gas burns differently to petrol the ignition timing needs to be retarded to run best on gas and it also helps to run colder spark plugs - both which considerably lower the vehicles performance whenever it runs on petrol or if someone tunes it as per original factory specs, it won't run efficiently on gas.

But if you own a vehicle that runs on gas I do believe there is an international ruling allowing you to send pics of your cock to many people without consequence!

Probably best you buy a diesel.

Sounds street legal.

I shit you not. After all it's only to get you to the nearest garage unless of course you've had a blow out

Also best to tell the tyre fitter you've used it before they start changing the tyre - unless you want a good laugh.

100k is no big deal for a car these days as long as it has been serviced properly, had the oil changed regularly and hasn't been used for towing.

That does sound steep for a Y with that sort of mileage mind. What spec is it?

Sure he said a Ghia

For average miles that price would be about right. I'd definitely try and knock them down a bit on price due to the mileage tho. And make sure the a/c is working properly or you're looking at big bucks to put that right.

It is what the missus wants ffs, would I have gonwe from having a Lexus to a fucking Ford Galaxy in the space of 2 years if it wasn't.

Tbf I can see the advantage, everyone is packed in like sardines while I sit in comfort with my seat as far back as is possible for maximum comfort.

Don't like the sound of the gas impinging on the petrol performance when switched using dual-fuel mind. Diesel it could be! It's finding one that's a bastard though!
