Freerunners dream, that place.

If I was involved in that kind of thing and heard about them tearing somewhere like this down I'd be straight over there, make a video and edit it so that it looked like the free runners were there during the demoliton, sell it to people who like that kind of thing. Quids in (good)

The library is closed to be demolished and rebuilt I think. Not sure what stage it's at. That tower block you're on about has gone now too I think. There was that awful building opposite (sort of) the station that has been taken down too now. That architect who was obsessed with buildings on stilts had a few in Newcastle.

The tower block is still there, they just reclad it in some hideous plastic looking stuff. Hasnt it got some vegetarian restaurant on the ground floor of it?

As for Gateshead market well hopefully they'll not tell any of the customers when they demolish the carpark, I had the misfortune to wander in there the other day and its like the land humanity forgot.

The weird thing is I don't actually mind Bewick Court (i.e. the one in the picture above). At least it's not as brutally grey as some of the surrounding lower-level buildings.

I wasn't thinking of the same place. I bet you've visited that place though Peasepud. Notorious prostitute haunt
