At least that's how I always see it. Don't really get the point of getting takeout coffee from somewhere like Costa if there's a cheaper local equivalent nearby though. The point being the mark-up on coffee is comparatively huge though. Mark up is huge on loads of things. Probably the same lad Alex. His brother had to get it taken out of the Benfield road shop as it was just to expensive for the clientèle around there. I'm sure it's about 8p a cup buy in Aye, John - that's him. And that's the place on Benfield Rd. Actually, wor sis told me his brother runs the shop now but John was telling me how little it cost him per cup. 8p might have been it. That's how much Costa charged him btw, before anyone starts Aye, his brother's my best mate, thats who i used to work for, his design business is on the back. I'm sure Mark told me it was 8p but he got it taken out and a Pumphreys machine put in as his main bread and butter are Crosslings staff and they just haven't got £2's to be spending on cups of coffee. Sounds about right. I don't know Mark but John is a good lad. Canny funny too (canny dodgy anarl ). He was at my sister's for her birthday the other week. His lass used to work with my sis.
