It'll be a student visa. They offered me a Graduate Assistantship, too, which means they pay the $30k tuition and give me a $7k stipend. I wouldn't have been able to afford it at all if it wasn't for that. But because of it, all the cash I'd been saving is now basically £10k pocket money. I won't be marrying Lauren currently because she's doing my fucking head in. Also I'm fully aware that once I'm over there, the fact that I can string a sentence together, have an accent, and can be reasonbly polite elevates me over the majority of male American college kids. It looks pretty swish. Most importantly, it has its very own diner. It's one of those nice suburban campuses, on top of a hill. Although I need to sort my visa out pretty sharpish. If you're only 10 minutes outside of the city, it sounds ideal. Do you have to go down to the Embassy for interviews to get your visa? Are you gonna become a frat boy? I'm not entirely sure about the visa. When I did summer camp I had to go down the embassy, but the University seems to be sorting this one. And, no, I'm not going to become a frat boy. I've spent some time in frats and they're fucking awful places full of fucking awful people. Plus the whole hazing thing to even join. No, ta.
