Recent months have seen the North East rivals go head-to-head for Jonathan Woodgate and Mark Viduka, with each side claiming a success, and they are now preparing for another face-off. Boro are already in Turkey after sealing the signing of Fenerbahce’s Tuncay Sanli and they are now trying to sign his fellow countryman Karadeniz. Karadeniz, though, is already on the radar of a number of clubs including Newcastle and manager Sam Allardyce is believed to have made a move for the Trabzonspor winger. The 27-year-old has spent his whole career with Trabzon and is one of the most highly-rated midfielders in his homeland, and has over 30 international caps to his name. I think one of greatest things I've ever read was in a mag for all seasons. It talks about how certain fans would taunt players for race or nationality and if there was a master race it certainly wasn't made up of the cretin standing behind the sideline when compared with the professional athletes on the pitch regardless of the race or creed (with the exception of david speedy).
