he also played in the world cup if you payed attention to any other teams except england, when you have worked in a bookies you get to watch alot of football when the world cup is on

Somehow I don't think a Scot and a Germans biggest interest at the World Cup was England. ;)

So thats another 3 games 2 of which the Czechs were beat, do you really think you can give a true judgement of a player on the back of 4 games?

I know that I watched those games, but could not remember Rozenhal's performances at all tbh. I am surprised that someone does after a whole year though. But going by the match reports from Germany's leading magazine, he did have some good/ok games against the USA and Italy but a shocker against Ghana.

If 2bias really does remember his performances then credit where credit is due.

Aye fair enough but if we are going to judge people based on their world cup performances does that mean we would pass the chance to sign the likes of Lampard, Gerrard etc?

the French Squad?

and to further the argument, would we seek to sign the European Championship winning team? I can't think of many of the Greek National team going on to set the world a light

We wouldn't have any problems at right back if SBR had been given the money to sign Seitaridis tbh. 4-5m Euro back then iirc.

well maybe, but we'd have no problems if we'd signed Shearer as a schoolboy, kept Jon Dahl Tomasson and played him as a second striker, spent £7m on a strong center half instead of Faustino Asprilla, etc. etc. etc.

;)

and has he really been that good? Who's to say he would have managed to replicate that form for us under that regime, in this competition.
