Grand idea, renew now so he can piss your money away at the casino whilst laughing his cock off. the only thing that will worry the Fat bastard is a lack of renewals. If you commit now you really cant then complain when he fucks you over in the Summer by selling the decent players and buying shite.

His goals couldn't be more transparent, even if he came out and said them. Wants us tied in now so we can't leave in droves when Tiote and Enrique are flogged off in the Summer.

When sending in your ST renewals why not also attach a letter saying you are renewing, but only on the understanding that the club will not be selling our best players such as Barton, Enrique, Tiote etc in the summer, regardless of how much is offered for them, and also on the understanding that the club will spend the AC £35m to bring in at least one or two quality strikers. If 45,000 ST holders all send the same message perhaps the club will take notice. If however, they sell the best players you may have grounds to seek a refund. (some hope tho!)

As I haven't had my renewal pack through yet I have been trying to wrap my head round the prices and different option 1, 3 and 10 year offers along with the discounts.

I see online they are offering my seat in the Leazes end at £1350 on the 3 year deals, anyone know if its £450 (a season) on the 10 year deal too?

Ashleys not fucking daft with this though and has me exactly where he wants us with these deadlines. I have been undecided all season as to if I would renew for a number of reasons including the direction of the club, travel hassles, days off work most importantly the amount it costs me per year to go to each game. If I am to renew I obviously want my seat for the best price possible but to ensure this I need to sign on the dotted line within a fortnight?

Bawbags... :)

My options were...

1 year season ticket = £558 up front or via monthly direct debit

3 year season ticket = £1350 up front. No Direct Debit option.

10 year season ticket = £504 up front or via monthly direct debit or via yearly direct debit.

Because I value blank paper more than that.

Note that the £1350 deal is only offered if you paid in advance on the last 3 year deal. Other lads (like Stevie) who took the DD option that time haven't been given that choice.

Dunno which bracket you fall into.

I never paid in advance last time, was direct debit, yet online I have the option of the £1350

I do so there's a get out for me. I'm seriously considering match to match next year at the minute. Fucked off with this Level 7 thing beyond belief. Considering 5 options right now, in order L4, back of the Leazes, East Stand, match to match, Gallowgate.

No I didn't! Try to remember that a few hundred forum members posting 500 or even 1000 pages of "not wanting to sell our top players", is still only representative of a piffling few hundred fans, as opposed to 45,000 season ticket holders who will have their wishes ignored if they don't put in writing what they expect.

In my experience most people just pay lip service to e-mails, and even less to chat forums, but 45,000 well composed letters sitting on the desk of the ticket office actually makes quite a tangible and forceful statement of what fans expectations are!

Are we all writing 2 each like?

And is someone else doing Deadman's 2 for him?

For the hassles you have with travel and the number of games you end up missing because of rescheduling etc surely its time to give up the ST and just buy tickets as and when?

Buying a ST leaves supporters powerless to react to events. All they can do to register their unhappiness at Ashley’s antics is protest inside or outside the ground. Protest inside the ground never works because the old ‘we don’t want to upset the players’ argument gets reeled out, and as we saw last season any anti Ashley banners are removed by the stewards. Protest outside the ground doesn’t work either as we can never get organised and it ends up being a few kids playing up for the cameras outside the Milburn.

The only other response to Ashley's antics is a boycott and it’s the only one he wouldn’t laugh at. Yet every time this option raises its head everybody says ‘but I’ve already paid for my ticket’. Personally I’m sick to the back teeth of people moaning about Ashley but doing fuck all about it... and buying a ST means doing fuck all is all they can do.

I understand people’s reluctance to give up their ST - I lost all my loyatly points when I jacked in mine which will hurt like fuck if we ever make a cup final. However, it’s a sacrifice worth paying so Ashley doesn’t have me over a barrel.
