nufc4ever 0
Has anyone heard how long Emre is out for? I know we have to wait for Nobby to serve his suspension, so is it likely the Man City home match will feature Owen, Luque, Nobby, Emre and Parker altogether for the first time? Gemmill 44851
Dunno when he'll be back, but listening to a doctor on the radio the other day saying that this hyperbaric chamber treatment that Simon Jones is getting reduces recovery time by up to TWO THIRDS. Why haven't we got one of these at Newcastle? Kieron Dyer should be wheeled around in one.

Papa Lazaru 0
If we got one, our coaches woudl put it on the wrong setting and probably gas them with cyanide or send our injured player back in time!
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Has anyone heard how long Emre is out for? 26730[/snapback] Physioroom says no return date set. Must have run out of the 'wing of bat and eye of toad' witches brew they normally use to treat hamstring injuries.

Isegrim 9772
Related to this topic. Are the club physios fully qualified doctors or just physiotherapists? In Germany most teams (if not all) have fully qualified medical staff on the bench. Especially for muscle injuries the treatment in the first 20 minutes is most important for the length of healing process (according to the Bayern team doc and specialist Müller-Wohlfahrt). And when you think of the millions spent on aquiring and wages for these players we should have the bloody cream of Harley Street looking after them. Its always a problem at St. James often willign to push the boat out for palyers, but not so much for coaching, back room staff and the like. Would you trust and put your faith in these guys?

Ignore this and rush him back early 3. Watch him aggrevate his injury 4. Repeat ad infinitum
