Hatful Of Hollow 0 Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Heading down to Nottingham in a couple of weeks, end of season trip with my Sunday league team, arriving Friday afternoon and coming back Sunday afternoon. Athough my upbringing was centered around the indie/alternative scene, the nightlife caters for all tastes. The shopping is good, although Leeds where I live now is better IMO. You're very unlikely to see any gun crime, even if you do go to St Anns or the Meadows which I don't imagine you will. There's historical stuff in The Tales of Robin Hood and The Castle if that floats your boat. It seemes like a nice place to me and they all seem to like it. Sister tells me the nightlife is excellent and yes, the gun crime is exaggerated as it is in only a small area. Toonpack 10384 Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Worked there for two and a half years, it's OK for a night out to be fair, but when on the beer NEVER wait until the last minute before going for a piss, in almost every pub's the mens bogs are either up or down numerous flights of stairs and fucking miles away from the bar area.
