Asprilla 96
So, you FINALLY did things the right way. You appointed a new manager with a good track record, BEFORE the transfer window. Well done. Sadly, it looks like you left it too late. You are paying for incompetence and arrogance that have cheesed us all off over the last decade. You have been paid handsomely for your troubles, and can leave your post knowing that you will never need to work again for the rest of your days. If you truly care about this club, you will step aside now, taking a very good price for your shares, and allow the next stage of rebuilding this club to happen. Craig 6703
What happens when he decides to hang and piss everyone off? The value of his shares will diminish and it's something I can't see him putting up with for long.

skhwoody 0
On North east tonight, they stated FFS is on £500,000 per annum as chairman and has refused to sell at the price offered. The greed shown is amazing, then add on top a hidden clause in the accounts means if FFS is removed from his post he also gets a pay off of 2 yrs wages, a £1 million payoff. The more i hear the more he just pisses me off.
Gemmill 47252
A £1m payoff is nowt compared to the cost of allowing him to continue in his role as chairman tbh. We've paid several times that in compensation to ex-managers in the past few years alone.

Yeh £1 mill is nothing, but when all you hear is Sherhard refuses to sell and is pushing to get a better price for his shares and then on top of that he has negotiated this clause, he is getting greedier and greedier, club first i think not I believe he would take £1.01 per share so he can say he got more per share than the halls, the gulf between the two families seems to be immense. He, as chairman, probably put that clause in his contract as well. As long as he doesn't take those lovely oak doors with him when he leaves we should be alright. JawD 99
Strange how he has went on and on and on about him being a fan and wanting the best for the club. Talk is cheap eh. Now, from a business sense, I could understand him wanting more cash perhaps. Facts are though, if this club meant anything to him he would sign on te dotted line. He knows he will be off the board if Ashely wants him to be once he gets the 51%. so why cause problems other than to line his gold plated pockets? (courtesy of NUFC as ever).
