I've passed my test!! :P:rolleyes:

I'm over the moon! Kept it secret from everyone as there's knowt worse failing your test and having to tell everyone. :D

I got six minors for speeding, observations and one safety, but overall drove really well.

I nearly passed my 1st time, but failed with one serious and two minors through not checking my blind spot while reverse bay parking. Despite that the experience I've gained through all the lessons I've had has made me a much better driver.

Glad to get it over & done with, tbh. :D

Congrats mate. No driving round the Whitley Bay one-way system with your stereo blasting this Bank Holiday weekend though, ok? :D

Not if wor' lass can help it! :D

Will be getting insured to drive her car.

I have a Peugeot 306 1.9 turbo diesel so the insurance cost a fortune, especially being 1st time driver. Gonna sell it to get a smaller engine.

its one of the best feelings ever when the examiner says you have past - remember it like yesterday and its been 7 years :D

Still taking a while to sink in, tbh. I've had so many lessons., must be about 90 odd. :D

congratulations.

I guarantee within three weeks you'll be cursing learner drivers and you'll think you're a good driver.

I remember when I passed I thought I was Colt Seavers!

I was not :D

crashed within 16 months of passing, wrote off my car and screwed my insurance for years to come.

Cheers. I'm kinda glad I didn't...! I think I'll find that the experience I've had has paid off. :D

Congrats though... once you miss it once, it can be like a vicious circle. (not that I experienced that first hand).

Will be five years next month for me!! Morning of June 21st 2002... as England were playing Brazil.

I remember the game well - Charlotte was 2 days old and sleeping soundly in my arms...........until Owen scored! :D

I have a bad habit when it comes to speeding, so I guess I'll sorta take into account the experience you had and take my time, eh. :D

It was annoying when I was learning and I had drivers getting too close because you think straight away does the tit not take into consideration what its like trying to learn to drive...!

My bro's sorting my insurance for the peugeot, says it'll probably only cost me £40 a month from paying £400/£500 a year. So could be driving tonight :D

Just working it out, it'll be 11 years ago next month since I passed mine :D

Yeah right - no theory test back then though

Aye well done indeed :D

Passed mine about 15 years ago after doing a weeks intensive course. No theory then like. Do about 40000 miles a year now like....
