GeordieMessiah 2
I should really say no, because technically I was too old to really be watching it, but I did. I can remember it was pretty well hyped at launch too.
Happy Face 29
Bertha, lovely Bertha, You are a lovely machine, And anyone who works with you will know just what I mean. Whoa... Bertha, lovely Bertha, Sometimes I think you're a dream; When we work out what you have to do You can always turn the goods out, Always turn the goods out: We can depend upon you. Clicking in the day, flashing in the night, Your computer is shining brightly. Some people say you've a mind of your own, And I think that's very likely, likely. manc-mag 1
ps • riddles (from Dark Towers) Beware of two bees buzzing together. Beware of the bird with the brown feather. The house will be saved by the Tall Knight's treasure. The Legend of Dark Towers is probably as old as the house, certainly as old as the Tall Knight himself - who Wordy learns lived an amazing 600 years ago. The Friendly Ghost tells Edward and Tracy some of it every time he appears, and it foretells the dangers posed by the current villains, who are planning to burn the house down once they've nicked all the hidden treasures. The significance of the legendary riddles doesn't become clear to the kids until the villains start turning nasty several episodes later - and by then it's too late. THE SOLUTION: Two bees (or B's) buzzing together are Benger and Bunce. The bird with the brown feather is a hawk, or Miss Hawk. The house is saved because selling the Golden Book of the Tall Knight helps raise enough money to repair it and maintain the idle lifestyle of the two Lords. I fucking loved that programme, me.
