luckyluke 2
No-one seems to care apart from me but what the hell, I can vent my spleen: Another over cautious declaration from Strauss. On the strength of our piss poor bowling yesterday, with what looks like only one effective wicket taker in Panesar, how are we going to bowl them out tomorrow, especially if we've batted them out of the game? Better to have an hour at them tonight, rather than three overs, and give them a target they could concievebly get, so they'll go for their shots a bit more and we've got more chance of getting them out. Honestly, why they don't make me England coach I'll never fucking know. Edited May 20, 2007 by luckyluke
Guest alex
What was the point in hanging on until nearly the close just so we could get 400 ahead? Ridiculous.
Walliver 0
So we can get the draw!
Walliver 0
starts today at Lords, still waiting team news but Harmy wins his 50th international cap if he plays 40 caps too many IMO. They had a break down of his success on 5 Live yesterday. They listed his average and the number of wickets taken in 10 match periods. 1-10, 21-30, 31-40 and 41-50 he took about 30 wickets at 30-35. 11-20 he took just under 60 at about 19. Probably about 30 caps too many. Wasim Jaffer is rubbish. First player to get a pair against Bangladesh.

We were never going to win the Ashes after we made the mistake of letting the useless prick "bowl" the first ball.
