In the current world today, you can do that cos you can download it, remove Amazon's DRM (all perfectly legally, it's your book), and put it on a different ereader. Yep, there's a decent enough video from a lass explaining how to convert them to kepub which is Kobo format. If you strip them and then upload them to torrent sites for others to read for nowt, that's illegal, but you paid for these so you can do what you like with them for your own personal use. FFS, They should be mine already I've paid for them but I've now downloaded them to my laptop, as far I'm understanding they're now mine 100% and can't be deleted or altered by Amazon. So..... If I want to read my now permanent books on a non-amazon device I'll have to convert them as described, what I'm saying is can I do the converting of what is now on my hard drive at any time I want or do I have to do it by the 26th?
