That’s the review 😆 The only book I can compare it to is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S Thompson, just for its sprawling, virtually gonzo style.. it’s nothing like F&LILV but that’s the only other book that’s made me feel stoned whilst reading it. That synopsis makes it sound almost a bit Mills and Boon but there's proper nasty shit goes down in it. Well worth a read.
