Didn't Oba use the "it was a misunderstanding" excuse before when it was his national team he didn't show up for?

Someone teach the lad english.

He went to Nigeria to pick his mum up iirc.

That's what it was. But he used the misunderstanding as an excuse as to why the NFA didn't know his whereabouts.

National Firearms Association?

Sam's a northerner, I swear he was from Dudley.

He is annal' me duck, Midlands, but I guess it's where you draw the line between the North & the South.

Coming from Gateshead I once was a Durham lad. Then I was from Tyne & Wear cos they changed the line. Now I'm not sure where I'm from, South Tyneside maybe?

I wish they'd stop moving the lines. :)

I don't know why he feels he has to comment on N'Zogbia. Not really his place, or is it?

Kind of agree but in this case I feel his comments are warranted. Charlie wants away and he has played like that since last pre-season. He is a decent player but his attitude is appalling. In most cases I would agree that the chairman shouldnt comment. On this one I am pleased he has.
